GRAND MID WALES CYCLE JUMBLE AND AUCTION – Saturday 3rd March 2018

(Including surplus items from the National Cycle Museum Stores)

The event will take place at the Royal British Legion , Tremont Road , Llandrindod Wells LD1 5EB

(on A483 north end of town near Aldi)

THERE WILL NOT BE DEBIT/ CREDIT CARD PAYMENT FACILITIES ON SITE.  PAYMENT  BY CASH ONLY

  1. 22” Dawes Super Galaxy  c1979 Suntour ,Weinmann,GB etc  classic touring machine of the era (£180)

      2. 23”Holdsworth early 60’s resprayed dark green unused since respray. Sachs gears, Maes Kint bars and Titan stem, Mafac Racers, Williams 1232 cranks (£ 200-250 )

  1. Rudge Roadster 1930’s 24” Complete and original  £150
  2. Dawes 22” frame and forks with chainset 1930’s with head badge lightweight model brown faded box lining £75
  3. Holdsworth c1958 no  27718  Yellow original paintwork  22 ½” Gnutti five pin splined chainset, Campag  GS hubs and pedals, Universal rear brake , Mafac levers, Brooks , Sprint rims: top quality spec. (£350-400 )
  4. Post Office Cycle all original red of course. If you want one of these you will want this £100
  5. F H Pratt (Salford Surrey) Ladies cycle late 50’s completely original Sturmey etc (£90)
  6. Viking multi sized child Cycle early 60’s  completely original based on a French design. £100
  7. Marlboro   ladies 20”   new  1980’s  ride away £120
  8. Strada folding bike: modern folders needs repairs £60
  9. Hercules Gents light Roadster  24”  all original  £120  1950’s or early 60’s
  10. Edison (Derbyshire) 1980’s low profile timer trial bikes. Mainly high end Shimano very little used stunning machine  red /yellow  (£200-250  )
  1. Longstaff Tandem trike 22 ½ / 21 ½  superb condition purple Shinamo index gearing little used £1000

Approximate valuations in Brackets, all cycles will be subject to a reserve so if we don’t cross the reserve, the machine remains unsold.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT , ALTHOUGH EVERY CARE IS TAKEN TO HIGHLIGHT ANY FAULTS OR ISSUES WITH MACHINES AND PARTS OFFERED FOR SALE, ALL SALES ARE ON THE BASIS THAT THE PURCHASER SEEKS THEIR OWN ADVICE IN RESPECT OF THE CONDITION OF THE MACHINE OR PART AND SUITABILITY TO BE RIDDEN /USED FROM A SUITABLY QUALIFIED CYCLE MECHANIC BEFORE DOING SO.
