Well Done Jane

Congratulations from the Tricycle Association.

A really great ride, done with determination, spirit and smiles.

Having completed the End to End, Jane has decided that she will not be continuing for the 1000 mile record attempt.

Enjoy your rest and the journey home.

Well done Jane. You have done an amazing achievement and need a well deserved recovery. Congratulations to the superb team that has supported you throughout your ride. Thank you Martin Badham for keeping us so well informed.

  2. I, like many others, have been following you all the way. Your ride is an inspiration. This week you have gained many fans – from those who ride two wheels as well as three, and even non-cyclists. (When you’ve had a rest have a look, for example, at the timetrialling forum.)

Congratulations Jane. You have joined that very elite group of End to End record breakers. You are also the first woman tricyclist to set an RRA record of over 100 miles distance! I hope your ride acts as inspiration to other women to have a go at taking an RRA record. All the trike place to place records are only standards to be broken. If you can please put claims in for the 12hr & 24hr records as I am sure the RRA committee will consider these claims if only to encourage further record attempts.

Huge admiration for doing the ride without the advantage of being able to “wait for the wind”. The 1000 can be organised on flatter roads – and you clearly have an ace support group ready and waiting……! Just hope you don’t have to use the mantelshelf for a table for too long.
