From Adrian Hills: Jane proceeding north beyond Inverness and over the Cromarty Firth. The saddle soreness problem is creating considerable discomfort but she is soldiering on stoically.

From Mark Brooking, 11:45: Down to double figures. Jane over the Cromarty Firth at Evanton

742 miles done, 7 hours down on schedule but plenty of leeway before she is threatened by the Standard of 4 days 12 hours.

    Keep pedalling!! Sounds as though Jane is going well now after “a good night’s sleep” as she has pulled back at least 4 hours on the schedule. Well done Mark, Adrian and the other helpers for looking after her so well. Looks as though she won’t have to ride into the night this evening to get JOG.
