LUNCH ORGANISER DEPRIVED OF HIS DOT

I have a confession – I have deprived our Lunch Organiser of his dot

That’s in the last TA East E-News….. and I fear, in the forthcoming TA Gazette.

SUN SYMBOLS DOMINATE TOMORROW MORNING’S WEATHER MAP

If you are in doubt about joining the TA East ride from Corncraft at Monks Eleigh to the Fleece at Boxford, just feast you eyes on the sun symbols on tomorrow morning’s weather map

Do join us.

The core time when I hope to be at Corncraft would be around 10.45 to 11.15. I hope to be at The Fleece soon after 12.30, but tricyclists are independent minded….

Details repeated at the bottom of this email

PS …the actual Met Office forecast says

Dry, bright, chilly start. Cloud will thicken later in the morning, limiting the brightness later. Perhaps the odd spot of light rain later….

News of  DAVE HUFFEY

I was sorry, but in some ways relieved, to hear that about two weeks ago Dave was found in his car near his home, having he lost all sense of where he was & stopped in the road. A passer-by rung for an ambulance. Said to be in hospital now, with his brother looking into arranging a place in a care home.

This information kindly passed onto me by John Tann.  John Tann ?  well, if I tell you that John’s father and uncle rode a Coventry Rotary tandem tricycle when it was the latest thing towards the end of the 19th Century, you will realise that John is not young!

Coventry Rotary tandem tricycle??  …that’s the one with one big wheel in the middle on one side, and two little wheels, front and back, on the other side.
