It turns out that the Cathedral Refectory is closed on Sunday mornings – so we will have our pre-event social meet at the

SCANDINAVIA HOUSE cafe. 10:30am ….ish

This is on the corner of Abbeygate Street and Angel Hill.

Angel Hill is the town square just west of the abbey gardens.

If you stand under the arch of the great abbey gate, looking towards the town, Scandinavia House is right in front of you

Now, How to find Hardwick Middle School.

The school is in Mayfield Road.

Grid ref is TL 858621 Postcode IP33 2PD

This on the south edge of Bury, just west of the A134 Sudbury Road. Not far from Nowton Park.

If arriving by the A14, leave at the Bury St Edmunds EAST interchange.(There may be signs from here)

Head towards town.

Roughly straight over 2 roundabouts and left at the 3rd – into Nowton Road

Then fork right into Mayfield road

Look carefully on left for Hardwick Middle School
