Held on 29th March, the event was won by Dennis Hornby in 31:03 with Alan Shuttleworth, who has recently joined Dennis in the Weaver Valley CC 23 seconds behind. Close behind this duo came Jim Hopper and organiser Peter Brocklehurst.
Afterwards several competitors and spectators repaired to Old Ma’s Teashop to continue the banter.
