THE TA EAST ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING IS THIS SATURDAY – 6^THSEPTEMBER

PLEASE COME.  Members of the TA East are earnestly requested to attend – with several of our usual attenders unable to be there, there is a risk that we will not reach a quorum.

As announced to all members in the Summer Gazette on p 46 and in more detail on p 36, the AGM is at 12 NOON at STOKE ASH WHITE HORSE

On the A140 Norwich-Ipswich road, 6 miles due south of Diss. Grid Ref TM113709, Postcode IP23 7ET

To add a social dimension, there will be a meet for coffee at the beautiful  Wortham Tea Rooms  Just off the A143, 3 miles SW of Diss,  IP22 1PP   10.30am  and a short clubrun to the pub.

The tea rooms are rather hidden behind trees at grid ref TM 085773, but there is usually a large teapot sign on the main road

I believe lunch will be available at the White Horse afterwards – if we don’t go on too long.

20140906 TA East AGM Agenda

With considerable relief I am pleased to say that Mark Brooking has agreed to be nominated as East Region Secretary.

Mark’s ability to carry a job through as never been better illustrated than by his organisation of Jane Moore’s recent End-to-End trike record. However Mark is helping Jane again – this time in the TA South East 12 Hour – on the weekend of the AGM – so we will be looking for a volunteer to take the minutes at the AGM.
