But if a last minute window of opportunity opens up unexpectedly – or if the sun shines and you decide to follow Mr Mole’s approach to spring cleaning (in the Wind in the Willows)
….then do feel free to come along without warning.

Leiston was where Paul Denny served his engineering apprentiship- in the Garrett Agricultural Engine Works.
Paul and Jacquie were at the recent funeral of Shirley Burrage of CTC Norfolk and Jacquie mentioned to me that they would welcome help from one or more of their friends in getting stuff down from the roof of their shed and making sensible decisions about disposal.
Offers of help to me in the first instance
Also at the same event I saw our member from Sutton, near Stalham Cec Neale – needing the help of a stick, but still able to do a little on his trike.

I was quietly awed a few days ago when collecting my Higgins after some work at Mick Madgett’s.
There was a last-minute need for a thread in a pre-existing hole – and Mick cut the thread before my eyes, using a little tool that came out of a set from a wooden case that I glimpsed on the floor.
“Oh yes, said Mick casually, that came from Grandfather” (‘s cycle shop).
