Congratulations to Dan Howard, who I believe was the only solo tricycle to ride the LEL, on finishing, also to Judith Swallow and Aidan Hedley who rode their tandem Trike “Rufus” to finish. These photos were taken at Spalding on the return journey, a respite from the Fenland winds. Also riding, on two wheels, was Richard Parker. Congratulations to him and all the other riders on, what the organiser describes as “One of the hardest” with 34% of the starters not finishing.
