A damp day on the E1/25b led to a tussle between Ian Pike and Mark Vowells, with Ian the winner by 3 seconds and the improving Mark taking 1^st handicap. A Stirling ride by Ian Mckenzie completed the triumverate of tricycling testers.

The TA ably supported the Lea Valley with timekeepers,Marshals, pusher-offs and result board wallah. Thank you to  Martin Badham, Ian Taylor, Frida Wezel, Mick Henighan, and our own DNSer, Adrian Hills, on result board. Also a big thanks to the Lea Valley CC, whose event we graces.

The race was preceeded by a convivial couple of days at the Lea Valleys’ Hut, starting with voluntary creosoting and culminating in a pre race curry.
