TA EAST E-NEWS 8TH DECEMBER 2018

To TA East members & friends

From Ferg Muir

Our last meet of the year is this coming Saturday:

SATURDAY15th DECEMBER 2018

at Cafe Como Street Farm, The Street, Brent Eleigh, CO10 9NU.

Grid Ref  is TL 943476

That is for the main car entrance off the A1141 Lavenham to Hadleigh road .

There is also a more picturesque way in – on grass – from the old road through the village. Ref for that would be TL 943478

This is an “Elevenses Only” meet, which seems to suit the way we all tend to be so busy at this time of year.

I suggest our core time at Cafe Como will be 10.30 – 11am.

NEWS OF MEMBERS:

DAVE CANNON

Slowly improving – able to cycle, short distances so far. Finally managing to catch up on 1909 issues of “Cycle & Motor Cycle”.

PAUL WILSHERE

I was pleased to learn that Paul is back on his trike, though as of a month or so ago, he was only up to 20 or so miles at a time.

PETE MARTIN

Pete has to go into hospital for attention to his back and possibly hip.

“So will be out of form for a while “

So there will be a delay in his taking over as Captain for the north of the region.

“But wish everyone a happy Christmas” he says.

MARTIN BADHAM

The real news is – it’s not cycling related this time.

But please don’t make him laugh – it hurts around his middle.

Matters are being investigated by his doctor.
