As always, the Tricycle Association Annual Dinner was a very sociable occasion. Many thanks are due to David and Mary Hardy for organising the meal and venue: The King’s Court Hotel, Alcester. The AGM was very well organised by Graham Coulson and Sid Charlton which ran very smoothly. Graham was awarded Life Membership for his conscientious work as National Secretary, including the choppy waters of the Covid years. Their contribution to the Tricycle Association, and that of Dave and Mary Hardy, as President and Membership Secretary respectively has been characterised by great attention to detail, dedication and efficiency. The new Membership Secretary is Trevor von Puttkammer and Martin Badham is the returning webmaster, taking over from Aiden Hedley.
We welcome, not the Shadow Cabinet but the real governing body; Richard Bailey combines two roles, continuing as Treasurer and adding to his portfolio as President. John Purser takes the Chair for future meetings and Mike Smith takes the reins as Secretary. Dave Hardy continues as National Captain. On the racing front, Lez Young will act as Criterium League Organiser, with Jymmy Trevor becoming Time Trial Secretary. Dave Stark takes over from Greta Spiers as Mileage chart Organiser and David Minter is the Audax Secretary for 2025. Winette Field continues as Memorials Correlator.
We are grateful to Roger and Myra Alma for their hard work and dedication in producing the magnificent Gazette, to the auditors, elected members and RRA officials, whether completing their term, remaining or starting new posts.
