I would like to thank Bev & Jez at Longstaffs for their time and patience in getting the old Longbarrow into a mechanically sound and roadworthy state after a lot of ageing components decided they had had enough after a hard life of reliable service in the region of 25 years +
Looks like the machine is up to scratch.
Now it’s down to us to put it to good use…..
After all this is one of the intended uses listed on the spec sheet when it was built by George back in 1990 something.
Its been used on 12 & 24 hour TT’s and has 3 Paris Brest Paris rides to its credit.
Now its time for the big one.
