As a result of the uncertainty about social gatherings later this year, resulting from the Covid 19 virus, it has been decided by the NEC to cancel this year’s National Dinner and Prize Presentation.
Thanks to the generosity of the Link Hotel we have been able to carry over the deposit paid for this year’s event to 2021.
A booking has been confirmed for the National Dinner, Prize Presentation and AGM for the weekend of the 30th/31st October 2021.
Due to the necessary cancellation of the Annual Dinner, the AGM has also been cancelled. To maintain continuity, the NEC will hold another “virtual” meeting in place of the AGM. Members may submit topics for discussion in the usual way, through their Region Secretary or an NEC member, but no formal motions will be accepted (see rule 5) which would require a vote from attending members at an AGM. All NEC officers will be asked to continue in their roles for a further year, including our President which is not an NEC position.
