… but according to Longstaffs on Twitter, Mark and Jane successfully set up a Lands End to Bristol mixed tandem trike record. Presumably Western Counties RRA.

On the one hand I was so sorry to hear that the long record attempt is over and that Mark is in so much pain but at least a new record has been made. As a passionate sportsperson, I have an idea of how much Mark will be hurting, physically and mentally but I always look to the positives. A new record to Bristol is no mean feat and he and Jane should be rightfully proud of their achievement. Well done to both of you and let’s see what happens next…
