TRICYCLE RIDERS IN THE 2016 MERSEY ROADS CLUB TWENTY-FOUR

Jim Hopper (Derby Mercury) went furthest in the Mersey 24 Hour time trial, held over the weekend 23/24th July. Jim’s provisional distance is 313.23 miles.
Not far behind was Graham Ellis (Huddersfield RC) who only started riding trike nine months ago, but covered 303.78 miles.
The third trike starter, low gear exponent Dave Stokes (Musselburgh RCC) had to desist during the night after sickness problems.
Here is a ten minute video of the 2016 event, including a remarkable start-line chat with Jim Hopper.
