Les was very actively involved in the TA for as long as we can remember, racing, time-keeping, marshalling, organizing – you name it, Les probably did it.

Special memories are of him on the tandem trike with his dad, Arthur, having a go at the End-to-End, joining us in St.Marsault for the World Championships, and of course holidays, and eventually retiring to Spain in his caravan. He was very knowledgeable on many subjects, and impressed us explaining that he was a cruciverbalist !!! you may be able to guess that one, especially if you have knowledge of latin, as did Les. We will miss his endlessly entertaining and educational chat.
